Another huge week for the SCV with 128 racers registered for The Presidents Trophy, our biggest race to date for 2024!
This trophy was established in 1972 by Peter McIntyre and has previously been won by some SCV racing legends. The Presidents Trophy was re-instated in 2023 by the racing committee and selected as an annual fundraiser event as a club to show our support for the mountain. This year we chose the Mt Buller Ski Patrol.
The Mount Buller Ski Patrol holds a special place in our hearts. Initiated by the Club in 1950, we have watched this organisation grow from strength to strength and become a cornerstone of the Mount Buller Community.
To ensure every racer on the day has the chance to win this trophy, it is awarded to the racer with the smallest gap time between run 1 and run 2.
